The museum’s permanent collection includes some of Van Gogh’s most iconic works, such as “Sunflowers” (De Zonnebloemen), “The Bedroom” (“De slaapkamer”), “The Potato Eaters” (“De aardappeleters”), and “Almond Blossoms” (“Amandelbloesem”). You can explore the artist’s life by watching the change of the style (and the usage of certain colours) of his paintings. A selection of Van Gogh’s letters (which often were sent to his family) provide interesting insights into the artist’s personal life and motivations, are also on display.
