If you are looking to do a city trip when the weather is nice, then the best moment to visit Amsterdam would be between April and September. During this period the weather in Amsterdam is the most pleasant.
If you want to see tulips, visit the city in the spring! To avoid mass crowds, consider to vitit Amsterdam in spring and autumn. To feel the magical vibe of Amsterdam, visit the city in December.
